History: Grove City is the furthermost southern suburb of Columbus, Ohio (link to page).  Grove City was wilderness up until the early 1920s when a town began to grow up around the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. The Beulah Park racetrack kept the area alive and thriving through the decades until it finally closed in 2013. But by then Grove City had established itself as a business hub, located a few steps from major highways connecting the town with Columbus and all points south.

Population: Around 37,500.

Average Income and Home Sales. Household income hovers around $67,000 and the average home is worth about $155,000.

Schools: Grove City Area School District.

Taxes: Lower than the average Columbus suburb.
